“The Lost part” is a series of still life. The two paintings follow the same tone and feel to reflect upon the age of temptation. The hookah plays a very important role as a symbol of temptation. The first part of the series includes the image of a incomplete hookah while in the second painting the missing part can be seen. The second painting on its own cannot be identified as a hookah but both the paintings go hand in hand in order to bring out the idea of how in the phase of temptations in life, one looses a part of themselves.
